Tourism theory and vocational study are only part of the picture. Our Industry Training program is an equally important part of your curriculum. It’s not just valuable experience, it’s a structured and supervised part of your course.

Fethiye Hotel and Tourism Training Center has good relations more than 1500 Hotels and Tourism Companies and We aim to providing the students Vocational Training with a Work-Placements, Internships and more in-depth training in Turkey Hotels and Tourism Companies. We want to make students capable of combining education with work experience. The project is expected to provide learning experiences in real contexts, to improve language training as well as cultural education of students in areas like tourism, management and hotel services.

Not just Vocational training, paid Industry Training

As this is a vital component of the program, we have also International students also work during Industry Training terms. International students find the experience of working in Turkey an asset when seeking employment after graduating. So Turkey is the 9th place on the world tourist atractions country list (WTO).

Preparing you for the Workplace

Fethiye Hotel and Tourism Training Center has a Career Services department cooperating with Best Hotels of Fethiye, Marmaris, Bodrum and Antalya Region for vocational work placement department to assess the students skill level and aptitude, and prepare the students for this important phase of their training. The students will be taught how to collate a resume, conduct themselves in interviews and what prospective employers look for. A series of preparatory interviews will provide you with feedback and confidence.

As a result the Training Center enjoys a high reputation within industry and the Career Services department provides considerable assistance in obtaining placements around Turkey top touristic places, and in some cases, internationally.

Ongoing assessment

During the students Industry Training, they’ll be visited by a our training center representatives who will assess their performance and provide them with advice and assistance. All students are assessed by their direct supervisor at two points during Industry Training. Applicants who already have extensive work experience are able to apply for an exemption from Industry Training.
